As the unit manager for the Development Unit, you will lead a group of business developers, administrative secretaries, and caseworkers. The unit is responsible for, among other things, planning and decision support, analysis and follow-up, needs and change work, quality work, committee administration, local supply, security, and crisis preparedness. The assignment also involves driving development needs in close collaboration with the operations and other stakeholders.

You will lead the daily work and drive both strategic and operational processes forward. The assignment also involves driving development needs in dialogue with various stakeholders.

As a unit manager, you have operational, financial, personnel, and work environment responsibilities.

We offer you:

  • a stimulating and developing role where you have great opportunity to influence, shape, and further develop working methods, processes, and collaboration
  • professional development and support in your leadership role
  • close cooperation with colleagues and employees

We would also like you to have:

  • work experience in the respective area
  • knowledge of the social services' mission
  • good understanding of municipal operations and/or experience of working in a politically governed organization

You value high quality in both your own and the group's work. You create structure and order and see digitalization as a natural tool for developing operations and making a real difference for citizens.

You build and nurture relationships, collaborate easily with others, and combine a strategic perspective with an operational commitment to change and improvement work. As a leader, you are clear and inclusive and create engagement, security, and participation in the group.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
